They are water tight, you get to pack them yourself and the fees are very reasonable. I moved from one town to another and had to wait for 2 weeks for my new place to be available. When I drove up to the new place there sat my pods, ready to unload as soon as I was ready. Plus since you pack them yourself you can unload which items you want first if you lable the pods contents.
