Best Coastal Beach Town in Oregon?

Nice beaches, beautiful small town, homes or condos for sale

Depoe Bay. I was just there and saw the whale migration…it was so awesome! Hope you’re wallet is bulging…it’s not cheap!

  1. Try Mananita

He’s right my little finger has a hard time with that z key!

Manzanita; 94 miles from Portland a 1 hour and 45 minute drive.

  2. You can’t beat Cannon Beach, it’s so beautiful and picturesque, it’s my favorite beach by far. It has a really cute town and is popular with tourists but not overrun the way Seaside is (my least favorite beach, terrible unless you’re a child wanting rides to play on and other kids to run around screaming wtih).

For an even quieter beach try Gearheart. Much smaller but has what you need, nice restaurant, beautiful beaches, cute gift shop. But only one of each.

I think the other respondant meant to say Manzanita, which I’ve heard is also a nice get-away beach but I haven’t had the chance to go.

You looking to buy? Lucky you!

  4. Florence is the area with the dunes. Lots of big sandy beaches. Oregon beaches can be rather rocky, and are less so in Florence. It is a growing town. There are many nice beaches, but Florence is my choice.
