I work for a family owned precision machined parts manufacturer. They have not had to lay off workers for at least 25 years. They have layoff off about 25% of our work force so far and new orders are coming in at a trickle when they used to flood in. It's bad. Everybody keeps saying it's hit bottom. Companies would be raising the prices even higher if they weren't nor getting their products and raw materials from China more than ever. Stores are closing everywhere.
