i’m concerned about the building structure. in the stairway there are also some cracks. aparently it was repainted and replastered 5 years ago, but there are some new cracks. quite long (floor to ceiling) i know any building can move a bit, but…
also on one wall it is quite humid, with clear water damage seeming to come from the floor above.

when i ask about it the seller seems not to know.
it is a small studio and i am looking for a small studio as an investment.

walk towards another one.

my peers are correct; cracks are from both aging and weakness in structure.

My landlord has been renting me their condo for 7 months.I signed a 12 month lease and have made all my payments on time, kept the apartment clean, and followed me lease. About 2 weeks ago a man came to the door to inform me that the condo had been foreclosed, I immediately contacted my landlord and she told me that she was currently looking into having the bank lower her payments and i shouldn’t have to worry about it. A week later, she e-mailed me telling me that i had to be out by may 31 because she is putting the condo for sale to avoid foreclosure… my lease isn’t up until august.I am a student and have nowhere else to go or store my things in this city since my family lives 5 hours away and cannot afford such a sudden move.
Also, I forgot to mention that my lease does not mention anything about the property being up for sale.

No, she cannot force you to leave. The new owner will have to honor your lease. However, you may be able to negotiate with her over this. First, though, reread your lease. Make sure there are no "emergency" provisions that will allow her to terminate the agreement with written notice. Once you know you’re on sure footing, suggest that you are willing to vacate early if she will refund the entire security deposit and waive the May rent to help you obtain a new place. Remember, you’ve got the upper hand, so be respectful and polite, but don’t cave to her demands.
